Looking to Get Started Hunting?
If you are interested in learning to hunt, the best place to start is by asking a family member or a close friend that you know hunts to teach you shooting and hunting tips and tactics. Often, young hunters are introduced to hunting by a relative or friend. Before you go hooting, though, you will need to learn the basics such as firearms safety and responsibility rules. You should also learn ammunition basics and gun care. If you will be hunting, you will need to know and understand the responsibilities of a hunter and the rules of good portsmanship this includes taking a Hunter Safety course.
Shooting takes practice, so be patient and realize that only by practicing can you improve your accuracy and control! Great beginner hunts include: dove hunting, plinking, or rabbit and squirrel hunting.
