Ken Du Plessis has come up with something special this year for the Eastern Convention Auction. This hunt can be taken from February to December 15th 2011 or 2012, with specific dates arranged with the Outfitter. Darted Rhino do qualify for SCI awards and book entry. Ken Du Plessis of Faun Afrika Safaris has been hunting in Africa since the age of five and Faunafrika has been established for some twenty years. The safari includes18 full days of hunting. Transportation to and from Johannesburg to the hunting area is also included. Accommodations are 5 Star Chalets and thatched lodges with all modern conveniences, including electricity, air-conditioning and a warm Jacuzzi. These are ideal family hunts with lots of programs for wives and children. There are also more than 40 plus species available to hunt during and after the Rhino hunt; including Kudu, Lion, Waterbuck, Buffalo, Nyala, Zebra, Giraffe and Eland.
